Kia ora and welcome to Mini Maori! 

We’re a husband and wife team based in Australia, proud of our Maori and Australian roots, and even prouder parents to two beautiful tamariki. Mini Maori is our family-built passion project. A celebration of whakapapa, whānau, and the rich cultural heritage we want to pass on to our children.

When we became parents, we were filled with love and excitement but also noticed a real gap when it came to finding Maori baby items, especially here in Australia. We wanted our pēpi to be surrounded by the beauty of Te Ao Maori from birth: the language, the symbols, the stories. All the things that make our culture so beautiful and special. 

That’s how Mini Maori was born...out of our desire to bring meaningful, cultural baby gifts to life for other Maori families living away from home. Every piece we offer is designed with mana by Kenny (Pāpā), to help you celebrate your culture and share it proudly with your pēpi (baby). 

Whether you’re a first-time parent, an aunty, a koro, or a friend looking for something special, we’re here to help you connect with Maori culture in everyday moments with your little ones.

Born from our own journey as parents, Mini Maori is for every whānau wanting to embrace Te Ao Maori, wherever you are in the world.
